Hipnautical Records was established to create music for those who love to dream of sailing away from it all to a tranquil island paradise where you can live in harmony with the wind, waves & the Spirit of nature.
“A Sailing Adventure” was written just for such an audience.
We took that dream of sailing away from it all to heart, bought a big ‘olsailboat & sailed away from our California home to fully immerse ourselves in the liberating freedom that only this adventurous lifestyle can offer.As we sailed to new & exciting places we played music where ever we went.Our sailboat was called S/V Hipnautical, so people began calling us ‘Hipnautical’ & the name stuck.My wife Bobbie Jo & I have brought our musical duet together here on Maui with the Spirit of the Pacific we became so in tune with along our sailing adventures combining our harmonious talents.Thru our music we bring an island Spirit we’ve experienced in the remote island paradises of our Sailing Adventures to our wonderful new home here in Maui.
So come out to paradise, hear us play & let your self go with the flow of the island, then long after the your adventurous vacation is over, just listening to music that inspires that island vibe will bring back those wonderful memories so that you can "re-live" the dream of your special island place.

"Which Wayz Out?!" is a collection of Jazz Fusion instrumental tunes from the "Out-Side". The Monday Buds evolved from an ongoing "Jazz Fusion Jam for fun", which often escalated into hour long, 'out of body' jams; a rare spiritual wave of musical energy. We were all playing as if riding a wave of musical energy, flowing dynaically & playing off each others groove. At times it was if we were all floating somewhere over head in this wave of musical energy while we watched ourselfes jamming down below. We ripped these incredible passages from the softest "Pink Floyd" like space-ness to a way over the top speed metal, including the depth & detail of modern Jazz... all while viewing it from a 'dream state' above. This is an "E-Ticket" ride folks & you must be "this high" to ride:-)
