              Ladies anchorage - Santa Cruise
Ladies is our most favorite anchorage of them all...if you can find it empty.  Which we did for about three days & just when we decided it was so cool, 'let's stay here & skip Bechers Bay'...Well along come a very clumsy boat load of trouble.  The anchorage is just right for one boat, two real good neighbors preferably best friends.  Well these guys nearly drift on top of us a number of times,  They crossed their bow anchor over our stern anchor chain nearly tangling, a few times & then they get it stuck on our bow anchor chain, by this time after a very long & gallant fight they are relived that we will haul ours so they can untangle thier's.  We had to first cast off the stern line with a float, then haul up the bow anchor until their anchor & chain were pulled enough for them to wrestle it free while we motored in place between a rock & a hard place.  Once free Bobbie held off just out side of Ladies & in front of Little ladies while I rowed our tiny dingy to the beach to retrieve our stern anchor, pile up all the rode & paddle back; the bewildered crew offered us a great bottle of wine, almost worth getting stuck again:-O .  'Ok, let's head to Bechers'.  ...

...As we made our way to Bechers we recalled the great kayaking, a number of great sea caves & one in particular that is the best of them all, not the biggest but certainly the most interesting.  Little Ladies was a nice little kayak paddle around the corner.  The interior had magnificent fern forests & majestic Oak trees.
